Welcome to our winter 2002 newsletter. This is a great time of year when the weather is cooler and it is a great time for baking. There is nothing better than fresh crusty bread with a cup of your favourite soup. Or is there, what about that fluffy fresh scone for afternoon tea or fresh warm muffins straight from your oven?

New Products
If you haven’t been into your local You Can Bake It store recently we have a number of new, easy to prepare products to cater for all tastes. In the bread mix range there are a number of new mixes.
TROPICANA (Mango, Apricot and Pineapple) bread mix is a new addition to our fruit bread mix range. Tropicana is full of flavour with sweet juicy pieces of fruit throughout the bread.
OLIVE
bread mix, a great bread with sliced dark olive pieces throughout.
Ciabatta, a new addition to our flat bread range that also includes Turkish bread mix, Pizza and Foccacia.
A new improved formula MEDITTERIAN (Olive, Tomato and Garlic) bread mix has also been re-released. The new Mediterranean bread mix now has Olive pieces rather than Olive powder giving it added flavour.
WHEAT FREE/GLUTEN FREE 2-MINUTE PASTA.
For our wheat free/gluten free customers we now have a range of WHEAT FREE/GLUTEN FREE 2-MINUTE PASTA. These are ideal for snacks or for lunch at work, as you only need to pour boiling water over it, similar to those soup in a cup products. Being totally gluten free they are suitable for people with coeliac disease.
EASY DOUGHNUT MIX The 500gm packets make 40 donuts for the lovers of “Homer Food”. We also have donut makers at $10-95 so all you need is the deep fryer for your own great tasting home made donuts.
IRISH SODA BREAD. This will be available in early June. This is a reintroduction of a favourite Bread Mix that has been off the shelves for some time due to the unavailability of Butter Milk.

In addition to the baking products we have the latest models of bread machines as well as a comprehensive range of baking accessories.

New stores are opening soon in GREENWOOD and MANDURAH. It is anticipated that the Greenwood store be opened early to mid July. Exact store locations and phone numbers will be posted on our web site. Remember that you can only buy a You Can Bake It product from a You Can Bake It store. Some of our customers have commented that there are products out there in the market place with similar or exact copied names to ours. These are not genuine You Can Bake It products. They say to be copied is the best form of praise. Thank you to those who copy our bread mix names we appreciate the compliment.

Sales of You Can Bake It SPELT Bread Mix are increasing to grow. Come into the stores and find out more about this amazing, ancient form of wheat.

Your till receipt will tell you the number of Bake It Dollars for each purchase. Bake It Dollars are just like cash, one Bake It Dollar equals one dollar. They can be redeemed to buy any product in the store and can be spent at any You Can Bake It store. There is no time limit or spending limit on your Bake It Dollars so don’t worry about them expiring like other loyalty programs. Just remember you have to have the total cost of the product in Bake It Dollars, you cannot combine them with cash.
